Sun Sigh

If the sun has a heart,

If it sighs as it sets,

I know it still beats

Even as daylight rests

Rest assured,

Even though

We see the sun not

Its bright joyous rays cannot be forgot.

So sighing and resting,

Remembered and waiting-

I think of you still even as moonlight's fading

As night turns to day,

Day-night, and then-

The sun's heart will sigh once I see you again.
